Beach Cottages

I started painting the oldest cottages on Long Beach in Gloucester back in 2016. After a couple sold out shows, I moved on to document Newburyport’s Plum Island cottages. The ocean just keeps getting closer to these old friends so I’m trying to preserve them in paint.

Vintage

Most of these bottles were dug out of my backyard during construction. I loved the circle of life for them - that 100 years ago they were basic household items, then buried trash and then unearthed to become portraits hung in a gallery.

Light Play

I will never stop experimenting with light. It has intrigued me since I was a child and I continue to explore it in all my work.
